Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect for our Smartcard, FSE (Field Service Engineer), and SecureEmail L1 services, based in Pune or Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable solutions in the domain of smartcard technologies, field service engineering, and secure email systems. This role demands a deep understanding of security protocols, smartcard applications, and enterprise email security, along with solid leadership and architectural skills.

Key Responsibilities
Design and architect end-to-end solutions for Smartcard, Field Service Engineering, and SecureEmail L1 projects.
Lead the technical design and implementation of secure smartcard-based authentication and authorization systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of smartcard and secure email solutions with existing enterprise systems.
Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, including high-level and detailed design documents, data flow diagrams, and security models.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools for Smartcard, FSE, and SecureEmail solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and implementation teams.




Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices related to information security and smartcard technologies.
Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ongoing optimization of deployed solutions.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, present architectural proposals, and support solution adoption.
Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in smartcard, field service, and secure email technologies.

Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture, with focus on smartcard technologies, security protocols, and enterprise email systems.
Strong knowledge of smartcard standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 7816, EMV) and secure authentication methods.
Experience with Field Service Engineering environments and workflows is a plus.
Expertise in secure email protocols (S/MIME, PGP), encryption, PKI, and certificate management.
Proficiency in designing scalable, highly available, and secure solutions in enterprise environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, TOGAF) are desirable.

Other Requirements
Hands-on experience with smartcard integration in payment, access control, or identity management systems.
Knowledge of cloud-based secure email solutions and migration strategies.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
Experience working with global teams and multi-site deployments.
