Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration and iterative development to ensure the applications align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. The engineer actively participates in refining processes and adapting solutions to evolving business challenges, contributing to the overall success of the project and organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
• Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
• Maintain documentation related to application design,



configuration, and deployment processes.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Skilled & Technical Skills:
• Must To Have Skills:
Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
• Experience with configuring and customizing Workday modules to align with business processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect Workday with other enterprise systems.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
