Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday is often spent collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and operate seamlessly within the existing technology environment. Continuous refinement and adjustment of applications to enhance performance and usability are also key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing and validation.




• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of application designs and configurations.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:
• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
• Experience with integration design patterns and middleware technologies related to Workday.
• Strong understanding of application configuration and customization within enterprise environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues effectively.
• Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques in integration processes.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
