Job Summary
The Cloud & DevOps Engineer will be responsible for provisioning and managing application infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as part of an On-Premises to GCP migration program. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and providing hyper-care support during and after migration.

Key Responsibilities
Approximately 5 years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong practical experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning

Key Responsibilities
Provision application infrastructure on GCP as per approved Low-Level Designs (LLD)
Develop, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Deploy and configure GCP resources such as compute, storage, networking, and IAM
Support application teams during migration waves and cutovers
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues
Provide hyper-care and post-migration support to ensure platform stability
Collaborate with network, security, and application migration teams

GCP & DevOps Technical Skills
Good understanding of GCP services including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, Load Balancing




Experience with Terraform modules, state management, and best practices
Basic exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation concepts
Understanding of monitoring, logging, and basic security concepts in GCP

Troubleshooting & Support
Identify and resolve GCP infrastructure provisioning issues
Support incident resolution during migration and hyper-care phases
Assist in performance tuning and configuration adjustments when required

Documentation Responsibilities
Terraform code documentation and version control
Infrastructure build and deployment documentation
Operational handover and runbook creation

Soft Skills & Collaboration
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced migration environment
Positive communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
Ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables
