Job Title: Associate Consultant – IBM MQ on Linux & Azure Cloud
Location: India (Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayawada & Noida)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Technical Specialist with deep expertise in IBM MQ on Linux platforms and Azure Cloud environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable messaging solutions across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
• Architecture & Design Design IBM MQ solutions for hybrid environments (Linux on-prem and Azure Cloud). Implement high-availability (RDQM cluster) and disaster recovery strategies for MQ in both environments.
• Administration & Maintenance Install, configure, and upgrade IBM MQ on Linux servers and Azure VMs. Manage MQ objects (queues, channels, topics) and security configurations. Monitor MQ performance and troubleshoot issues across on-prem and cloud setups. Good Knowledge and experience on LINUX UNIX commands Administer various components of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or Integration Bus (IIB) Implementation skills of MQ / IIB migration and upgrade Experience on different file systems used by MQ & IIB, IBM ACE Need to know IBM PMR process
• Cloud Integration Deploy and manage IBM MQ on Azure using Azure Virtual Machines,



Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Azure Marketplace offerings. Integrate MQ with Azure services (e.g., Azure Key Vault for certificate management).
• Automation & DevOps Develop scripts and automation for MQ administration using Ansible.
• Security & Compliance Configure SSL/TLS for secure MQ communication Ensure compliance with organizational and cloud security standards.
• Support & Documentation Provide Level 3 support for MQ-related incidents. Maintain detailed documentation and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Technical Expertise 8+ years of experience in IBM MQ administration and support. Strong knowledge of Linux OS (Red Hat, SUSE, or similar). Hands-on experience with IBM MQ on Azure Cloud. Proficiency in MQ clustering, HA, and DR setups.
• Cloud & Automation Experience with Azure services and MQ deployment in cloud environments. Scripting skills (Shell, Python) and automation tools (Ansible).
• Monitoring & Performance Familiarity with MQ monitoring tools and Azure monitoring solutions.
• Soft Skills Solid problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures.
Education




• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
