Job Summary
Software Embedded Engineer
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics /Electrical Engineering
- Must have minimum of 5-7 years of software testing experience.
- Experience in End-to-End Functional testing of embedded device
- Experience in Requirement analysis
- Extensive Experience in Test design (deriving test scenario) as per requirement.
- Extensive Experience in Test case development for the identified test scenario and review of test protocols
- Ability to perform software testing in Embedded boards/systems.
- Ability to understand & resolve the simulator setup issues if any or similar experience expected.
- Extensive Experience in Test case execution in actual and/or simulator system and test report review
- Experience in Defect analysis and report the defects along with objective evidence.
- Ability to collaborate and work with customer V&V; and development team.
- Co-ordinate with V&V; team to clarify their queries and discuss with customer to get input.
- Medical Devices domain experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
