Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. Production Planning & Scheduling
• Prepare monthly, weekly, and short-term production plans based on sales forecasts and market requirements.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, QC, and QA teams to ensure optimum capacity utilization and timely batch execution.
• Monitor production adherence against approved production plans.
2. Material Planning & Inventory Control
• Prepare material requirement and shortage reports as per production plans.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores for timely availability of RM/PM materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability without overstocking.
3. Capacity Planning & Resource Optimization
• Manage short-term and long-term capacity planning activities.
• Identify bottlenecks and escalate capacity constraints to management with corrective action plans.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
4. SAP Operations & MIS Reporting
• Execute and monitor PPIC activities through SAP modules.
• Prepare MIS reports, RCA reports, gap analysis, and planning dashboards for management review.
• Ensure accuracy of planning and inventory-related data in SAP.
5. Supply Chain Coordination & Exception Management
• Identify and resolve supply chain exceptions through:
1. Material reallocation
2. Expediting purchase orders
3. Production rescheduling
• Ensure smooth coordination between internal departments and external stakeholders.
6. Current Product Launch Coordination




• Support and drive new product launches at the manufacturing site.
• Coordinate weekly follow-ups with Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) for launch readiness and execution.
• Track timelines and ensure smooth commercialization activities.
7. Inventory Analysis & Control
• Analyze slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory.
• Ensure inventory liquidation plans and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Monitor inventory ageing and support cost control measures.
8. Cross Functional Team (CFT) Coordination
Coordinate with:
1. Manufacturing
2. QC
3. QA
4. Regulatory Affairs
5. Documentation Cell
6. Marketing
7. Procurement
• Ensure smooth execution of planning and operational activities.
Additional Tasks / Responsibilities
• Participate in S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings and management reviews.
• Maintain planning records, reports, and documentation as per company systems.
• Monitor batch execution status and update management on delays or critical issues.
• Support audit requirements by providing PPIC-related data and records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational trackers.
• Follow up for timely closure of pending procurement and production-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and planning efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams for smooth material movement and dispatch planning.
• Assist management in forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, GMP practices, and operational procedures.
Candidate Requirements
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Coordination, SAP Operations, and MIS Reporting.
• Good analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under operational constraints.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
