Job Summary
To develop and deliver codes for the work assigned in accordance with time| quality and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs, resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) /new developments based on business/ client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project.
2. To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards.
3. To perform activities related to enhancement creation of documents for CMMi and client requirements.
4. To provide technical guidance to junior developers.
5. To interact with the customer and internal teams to gather requirements for development purposes.

Job Description: AI Developer (Junior / Entry Level)
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Junior AI Developer with strong fundamentals in Python and basic exposure to Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning. This role is ideal for freshers, interns, or early career developers who have completed academic projects, certifications, or self learning in AI.
You will work with our project teams to develop, test, and support AI-driven solutions, while receiving guidance and mentorship from senior members.

Key Responsibilities




• Assist in designing and developing AI/ML models under supervision.
• Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation tasks.
• Write clean, efficient Python code for model development and automation.
• Support integration of AI modules into existing applications or systems.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and debugging of AI features.
• Explore new AI tools, frameworks, and techniques as part of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, analysts).

Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Python programming (must).
• Basic understanding of AI / ML concepts such as:
o Classification, regression, NLP, or neural networks
o Model training & evaluation
• Exposure to any AI frameworks/tools (any one is sufficient):
o TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit learn, OpenCV, NLTK, etc.
• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to project needs.

Preferred (Good to Have)
• Academic or self-made AI projects (GitHub portfolio is a plus).
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy.
• Understanding of APIs or automation using Python.
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle.

Experience
• 0–1.5 years experience in AI/ML development OR
• Freshers with self-learning / certifications / internship projects are highly encouraged.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Data Science
• OR candidates from other streams with strong Python + AI skills.

• Ability to take ownership of tasks with minimal guidance
