Job Summary
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP US Payroll Functional Consultant to support payroll operations and compliance for US-based employees. The role involves configuration, testing, and support of payroll processes, including tax, benefits, and garnishments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BSI Tax Factory, payroll schemas, and integration with finance systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure and maintain SAP US Payroll including schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll areas.
• Manage BSI Tax Factory updates and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Set up and maintain garnishments and advantages integration with payroll.
• Handle payroll posting to finance and ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Configure direct deposit and check payment options.
• Implement and test HR service packs and tax updates.
• Provide production support including root cause analysis and resolution of payroll issues.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Lead or support full lifecycle payroll implementations and upgrades.
• Interface with third-party vendors for payroll-related integrations.

Required Skills




• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP US Payroll configuration and support.
• Strong understanding of US payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience with BSI Tax Factory, wage type configuration, and payroll schemas/rules.
• Familiarity with integration to SAP FI and benefits modules.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
• SAP HCM or Payroll certification.
• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Exposure to NBCU or SpinCo environments is a plus.
• Experience in remote or hybrid delivery models.

Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
