Come Innovate Motion with us The EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Manager position is critical for ensuring compliance and promoting a strong EHS culture within the Nis Plant. This role focuses on developing and implementing EHS programs, delivering training, conducting audits, and supporting sustainability initiatives. The EHS Manager provides technical leadership to ensure adherence to Serbian and EU regulations, as well as corporate EHS standards. Close collaboration with production teams, corporate functions, and regional leadership is essential to drive continuous improvement and maintain a secure and environmentally responsible workplace.
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Implement and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments and develop recommendations for improvement
• Act as an EHS expert for regulatory compliance and implement standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
• Plan and deliver EHS training programs to build awareness and a strong safety culture
• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics and KPIs; propose actions for continuous improvement
• Investigate accidents and near misses, ensuring corrective and preventive measures are implemented
• Perform regular EHS audits and inspections,
ensuring timely closure of findings
• Collaborate with global and regional EHS teams to align with corporate strategy and share best practices
Our requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, safety management, or a related field along with relevant EHS certifications
• At least five years of experience as a site EHS coordinator or manager
• Relevant experience within the automotive industry would be an asset
• Fluency in English is a must; additional languages are considered an advantage
• Results-driven individual, teamwork and proactive attitude for seeking innovative solutions
• Experience in coordinating teams would be an asset
