About the Role:
The Candidate Experience Specialist is responsible for creating a positive, end-to-end candidate experience from offer acceptance to day one. This role involves a wide range of administrative functions, including managing pending hires, executing background checks, reporting, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will proactively solve problems, use good judgment, and handle internal communication with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
How you will make an impact:
Providing an exceptional candidate experience from offer acceptance to day one, ensuring a best-in-class experience. Impacting the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team by recommending changes to improve efficiency, ensuring quick turnaround times for a positive candidate experience. Supporting broader People Experience initiatives through various projects, including process improvement, research, vendor, and data management. Managing all aspects of the onboarding process, including current hire information, pre-employment screening, and internal documentation, ensuring systems are correctly updated and maintained for efficient onboarding. Liaising with People Organization and Talent Acquisition colleagues and serving as a subject matter expert to managers, candidates, and Talent Acquisition,
providing timely updates and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and onboarding. Coordinating reporting tasks with discretion and confidentiality to align with and achieve desired goals and objectives. Making personal connections over email to explore new hire needs while efficiently navigating resources, systems, and relevant data to deliver support, working independently to identify solutions to issues. Partnering with Talent Acquisition and People Org teams to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws related to onboarding and hiring.
What we look for:
Proven track record within the People Organization/HR function. Knowledge of Workday experience or equivalent HRIS/ATS. Ability to be present 2-3 days per week in the office to support interactions with new hires, colleagues, and People Org Partners. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel. Prior track record with HRIS or ATS systems is preferred. Understanding the importance of discretion and confidentiality, with self-management skills to complete tasks professionally and accurately within designated timeframes.
