Position Overview
Title Legal Counsel/Consultant Reporting to: Senior Director – Legal, India

What this job involves:
Work Dynamics is JLL’s service offering to occupiers of commercial real estate, including integrated facilities management, portfolio leasing administration, transactions and interior fitout and construction management. You will provide legal support for the Work Dynamics business in India with a focus on:
• Supporting legal and compliance matters in India with primary focus on commercial contracting and transactional work
• Advising on, reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as consultancy agreements, services agreements, RFPs, tender responses etc with clients and vendors
• Research and advisory on corporate and commercial laws, and management of regulatory compliance




• Direct interaction with internal clients as well as external parties such as clients, vendors and other third parties
• Assisting with the development of processes and procedures to identify and manage legal risks, improve efficiencies and processes including template management
• Render other legal support as required by Senior Director – Legal, as required.

To apply you need to be / have:
Employee specification
• A law graduate from reputable law school with 7-8 years of PQE
• Prior relevant experience in commercial contracting/transactional work in private practice or an in-house position
• Excellent knowledge of Indian laws including but not limited to corporate and commercial laws, labour laws, data privacy laws, real estate laws etc

• Commercially savvy, with a highly responsive, proactive, and solutions oriented mindset
• Detail oriented and able to simplify the complex
• Be enthusiastic and a team player. Able to work well with others
• Ability to effectively juggle priorities
