Overview
To work within the General Accounting and Financial Reporting teams at Mitel. Assisting with the year-end audit (and related filings), quarterly filings, special projects and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Assist with general month and quarter end closing tasks
Assist with monthly entries to help consolidate all subs into the main ERP
Assist with the proof of CTA
Interactions with external and internal auditors
Assist with preparing Financial Statement and MD&A; tie out support
Assist with proofing of the financial statements and other filings, etc.
Analysis of certain accounting transactions

Requirements
• A Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance (in-progress)
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and to work in a team
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
