Job Summary
The Telecom Mediation/ Entitlement Server Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mediation systems that collect, normalize, and distribute network usage data from multiple sources for billing, rating, and analytics. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of Call Detail Records (CDRs), Event Detail Records (EDRs), and other usage data across telecom platforms and also integrates with authentication and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain entitlement server components for feature management.
2. Implement APIs and services for entitlement validation and provisioning.
3. Integrate entitlement services with subscription management, and authentication systems.
4. Collaborate with product teams to define entitlement models and workflows.
5. Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, SAML).
6. Develop and maintain mediation systems to capture CDRs/EDRs from network elements.
7. Normalize, validate, and enrich raw usage data for downstream systems (billing, analytics).
8. Integrate mediation systems with OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems,



and data warehouses.
9. Work with network teams to onboard recent network elements and protocols.
10. Stay updated on telecom standards (e.g., 3GPP, TAP, NRTRDE) and mediation best practices.
11. Strong experience in telecom mediation platforms (e.g., HCLTech eIUM, Ericsson Mediation, Huawei MDS, custom mediation solutions).
12. Knowledge of telecom protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP) and data formats (ASN.1, XML, JSON).
13. Proficiency in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Telecom BSS knowledge.
2. Knowledge of eSIM Technology.
3. Familiarity with ETL tools, big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark), and message queues (Kafka).
4. Knowledge of Testing Tools like JMeter, SoapUI, Postman.

Key Responsibilities
1. To collaborate with key stakeholders, to understand business objectives and work with them to integrate design thinking into software/product development.
2. To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.
3. To present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders and gather feedback.
4. To establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
5. To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.
