Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through the development and execution of comprehensive test plans. This position collaborates closely with project stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables, ultimately driving improvements in testing methodologies and practices.

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical Engineer, Computer engineering or equivalent; focused on embedded systems domain.
2. 8+ years of experience in testing of Embedded Software on various Target hardware.
3. Experience working with and testing Embedded Applications using Serial Protocols- CAN, OSI 7-layer model, I2C RS-232, RS-485, SPI.
4. Experience creating comprehensive Test plans and test cases to achieve Maximum test coverage.
5. In depth understanding of Linux Internals, IPC Mechanisms, Scheduling and Linux Commands and Linux Device Drivers.
6. Ability to think out of the Box and produce test scenarios designed to challenge the functional limits of the implemented Software.

Key Responsibilities
1.



Collaborate With Clients And Team Members To Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions, Understanding Design Specifications, Identifying Performance Concerns, And Ensuring Appropriate Test Environments Using Python-Based Testing Frameworks Are Maintained And Optimized.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices In Python And Automation Frameworks To Enhance The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of The Testing Process.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Python And Relevant Libraries, Ensuring Consistency And Alignment With Quality Standards To Minimize Exposure To Defects.
4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Effective Use Of The Python Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Team Productivity.

Skill Requirements
1. Proficient In Python With A Solid Understanding Of Testing Frameworks Such As Pytest Or Unittest.
2. In-Depth Knowledge Of Automated Testing Methodologies And Tools.
3. Robust Understanding Of Embedded Linux Testing And Performance Considerations.
4. Familiarity With C++ For Validating Embedded Systems And Applications.
5. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Address Testing Challenges.

Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Software Tester (Cste), Istqb Advanced Level Test Manager.
