Job Summary
Responsible for proactive monitoring, automation, and operational support of enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with defined SLAs. The role focuses on early detection, incident reduction, and continuous improvement through automation and standardization. Provide support 24x7 proactive monitoring team of enterprise network infrastructure using industry-standard tools to ensure availability, performance, and SLA compliance. Leverage network automation and scripting to standardize configurations, accelerate incident remediation, and reduce repeat network events.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide 24x7 proactive monitoring of enterprise network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) using approved network monitoring tools.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance, capacity, and availability issues to minimize service disruptions.
• Correlate alerts, events, and logs to detect recurring issues and support root cause analysis (RCA).
• Implement network automation using scripts and orchestration tools to standardize configurations, automate health checks,



and accelerate remediation.
• Work closely with L2/L3 network teams and other infrastructure support groups to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
• Track, report, and trend network events, incidents, and KPIs to support continuous service improvement.
• Ensure compliance with client security, operational, and documentation standards.
• Support change, problem, and incident management processes as per ITIL best practices.

Skill Requirements
Robust knowledge of enterprise networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent).
• Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, shell scripting).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL-based operations.
• Ability to analyze trends, produce reports, and communicate operational insights to stakeholders.

Other Requirements
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-vendor network environments.
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid network monitoring.
• Knowledge of SLA, KPI, and operational reporting in managed services environments.
• Proactive detection and reduction of network incidents.
• Automated network monitoring and remediation workflows.
• Regular operational reports, RCA documentation, and continuous improvement recommendations.
