Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead in this role is responsible for overseeing the testing activities for software development projects, with a focus on utilizing selenium and Java technologies. The primary objective is to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software testing process.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the overall testing process, including test planning, test case design, and test execution using selenium and java.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and strategies.
3. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using selenium and java.
4. Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issue resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on selenium and java testing best practices.
6. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the organization.

Skill Requirements
1. Build scripts using Selenium/Playwright.

Requires strong techno-functional automation expertise in complex insurance environments.
3. Combines deep insurance business knowledge with advanced automation engineering skills.
4. Designs, builds, and maintains robust automated test suites for policy administration and back-office workflows.
5. Covers critical processes like enrollment, eligibility changes, endorsements, renewals, billing, claims, commissions, and financial postings.
6. Extends beyond UI automation to integration-heavy smoke and sanity testing across PAS, billing, claims, commissions, and portals.
7. Implements API-level and contract tests to ensure data consistency, schema integrity, and business rule compliance.
8. Builds hybrid automation combining UI, API, batch, and database validations for end-to-end insurance flows.
9. Validates that policy updates trigger correspondence, portal updates, premium recalculations, and accurate financial postings.
10. Collaborates with product, business, and integration teams to align automation with real-world insurance scenarios.
11. Supports frequent releases with reliable regression coverage and quick, trustworthy feedback for production readiness.

Other Requirements
ISTQB Certification in Software Testing is preferred but not mandatory.
