Job Description Position Title - IGCSE / IB DP Psychology Teacher (Part time) NFor an IB Continuum School N nIGCSE / IB Diploma Programme (DP) Psychology Teacher – Part Time N Role Summary nThe Psychology Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based and student-centered lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Psychology curriculum. The teacher will foster critical thinking, research skills, ethical understanding, and real-world application of psychological concepts within an international learning environment. N Key Responsibilities Nn Teach Psychology for IGCSE and/or IB DP (SL & HL) students N Design lesson plans, assessments, assignments, and differentiated learning activities N Prepare students for board examinations, internal assessments, and projects N Promote inquiry-based and concept-driven learning as per IB philosophy N Support students in research methodology, case studies, and psychological investigations N Maintain student records, progress reports, and assessment documentation N Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, PTMs, and school events N Integrate technology and global perspectives into classroom practices N Ensure a safe, inclusive,



and academically stimulating classroom environment N Collaborate with coordinators and faculty members across the IB Continuum framework Nn Pre-Requisites/ Eligibility Nn Master’s Degree /Post Graduation in Psychology (Mandatory) N B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred N Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in IGCSE, Cambridge, or IB DP curriculum N Prior experience teaching IB DP Psychology is highly preferred N Familiarity with IB Approaches to Teaching & Learning (ATL), TOK, CAS, and inquiry-based pedagogy N Strong command over psychological theories, research methods, and assessment standards N Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills N Proficiency in spoken and written English N Ability to work collaboratively in an international and multicultural environment N IB Workshop Certification / IB Training will be an added advantage Nn Desired Competencies Nn Student-centric and reflective teaching approach N Strong planning and organizational skills N Passion for adolescent wellbeing and holistic education N Creativity in lesson delivery and experiential learning N Digital literacy and comfort with educational technology platforms N Professional ethics andcommitment to continuous learning Nn Nature of Appointment Nn Part-Time (7.30AMto 2.30PM) - All Days NnPreferred Experience in an IB Continuum School NExperience in schools offering combinations of PYP, MYP, IGCSE, and DP is advantageous, as students transition through inquiry-based and internationally benchmarked curricula.
