Job Summary
Scripting proficiency: Strong ability to write clean, maintainable scripts - python or starlark preferred.
API integration experience: Hands-on building against REST APIs (OAuth2/token auth, pagination, rate limits, retries/backoff).
Data handling: Comfortable normalizing JSON (nested objects/arrays, optional fields, type inconsistencies) and transforming it into a consistent output format.
Reliability & debugging: Strong error handling and observability (structured logging, meaningful errors, and lightweight tests/fixtures to validate edge cases).

Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience with Network Discovery tools such as Armis, Runzero, Lansweeper,
BMC Discovery, ServiceNOW discovery, HP UD etc..
• 7+ years of experience in the implementation and management of scanning and discovery
tools in large enterprise environments (10,000+ devices).
• 10+ years of experience in networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP) and
system architectures (e.g., Windows, Linux, cloud platforms).
• 3+ years of experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data




collection and analysis.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting on discovered assets.

Primary Responsibilities
• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks and drive
continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation.
• Design, implement, and maintain network discovery tools (e.g., Armis, Runzero,
Lansweeper) to ensure comprehensive asset visibility.
• Demonstrate conceptual knowledge of network discovery principles and methodologies.
• Analyze network and system data to identify infrastructure components, configurations,
and interdependencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate discovery data into IT asset
management and security systems.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of discovery processes and
data accuracy in large-scale environments.
• Provide subject matter expertise on networking protocols, system architectures, and asset
discovery best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to network discovery tool performance and data
collection.

Skill Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with other IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Configuration Management Database
(CMDB) solutions.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
• Experience working in a regulated industry, such as healthcare.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise reports and
presentations for various audiences.
