Job Summary
This role is accountable for overseeing operations management in complex, large-scale data center virtualization and software-defined networking environments. The individual drives continuous improvement initiatives, ensures adherence to client SLAs, and empowers teams by providing expert guidance on VMWare NSX and SDN technologies. They play a key role in optimizing operational processes, problem-solving critical incidents, and championing innovation to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead operations management by leveraging VMWare NSX and SDN technologies to optimize data center virtualization (x64) environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with client SLAs.
2. Implement advanced monitoring and automation tools for VMWare NSX and SDN to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network and virtualization issues.
3. Architect and oversee change, incident, and problem management processes across DC Virtualization and SDN platforms, ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and continuous service improvement.
4.



Mentor and empower support teams by providing expert guidance on VMWare NSX and SDN problem resolution, technical escalations, and adoption of emerging virtualization and SDN solutions.
5. Drive process innovation by evaluating and integrating recent tools, scripts, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and reporting within the virtualized data center environment.
6. Engage with clients to translate technical requirements into actionable operations strategies, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with business objectives.
7. Ensure robust documentation of operational procedures, incident resolutions, and architectural changes within VMWare NSX and SDN platforms to support knowledge sharing and compliance.

Skill Requirements
1. Excellent Proficiency In Network Virtualization, MicroSegmentation, And Automated Provisioning Using Vmware Nsx.
2. Advanced Skills In Deploying, Managing, And Troubleshooting Complex Sdn Environments.
3. Excellent Understanding Of Itil Processes, Including Incident, Problem, And Change Management.
4. Strong Expertise In Monitoring, Reporting, And Automation Tools Relevant To Data Center Operations.
5. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills For Mentoring Teams And Managing Client Expectations.

Other Requirements
1. VMWare Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCPNV) or VMWare Certified Advanced Professional – Network Virtualization (VCAPNV) recommended.
2. ITIL Foundation certification (optional but valuable).
