Job Summary
Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex Cisco IP telephony and Unified Communications infrastructure. The role involves managing core UC platforms, performing deep-dive technical analysis, and ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction through proactive engagement and mentorship. Provide intermediate-level support and management for Cisco IP telephony network infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot core platforms: CUCM, CUC, CUBE, Expressway/MRA, and IM&P.;
Perform advanced troubleshooting by collecting and analyzing CUCM/CUC logs, traces, and voice gateway debugs.
Manage and optimize call routing and media resources.
Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with internal teams, partners, and customers.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Ensure all operational activities align with ITIL standards and project governance.

Skill Requirements




Technical Expertise: Proficiency in CUCM, CUC, CUBE, IM&P;, and Expressway (MRA).
Protocols: In-depth understanding of SIP (Mandatory), H323, MGCP, and SCCP.
Networking: Knowledge of Cisco Routers/Switches and core protocols (RTP/RTCP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, NTP, TCP/UDP).
Virtualization: Basic knowledge of Cisco UCS and VMware within a UC environment.
Certifications: CCNA Voice and ITIL (Required).
Licensing: Familiarity with Unified Communication licensing and certificate management.

Other Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in the UC domain.
Education: Graduate degree in a relevant field.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to be qualified and concise.
Work Ethic: Highly self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide others.
