Job Summary
Oracle Database Administration with Exadata/ExaCC exp.

Job Responsibilities
Provide BAU support Ø Built Oracle cloud@customer platform for Migration Ø Migrating database from On-prem to Oracle cloud@customer. Ø Support Exadata & non-Exadata patching activities. Ø Troubleshoot performance issue and apply permanent fix. Ø Restore & recover database on-demand basis. Ø Oracle database upgrade to 19c. Works collaboratively with other team members and builds positive working relationships Ø Proficiency in English language, with excellent written and verbal skills Ø German speaking capability is a plus Ø Able to learn quickly and apply common sense to new situations, but understand when it is appropriate to engage others for advice Ø Open and transparent in style and approach when working with others Ø Ability to be proactive and take ownership to bring task to conclusion Ø Proactive in communicating and selection of audience according to topic Ø Highly organized and capable of tracking a variety of tasks to closure Ø Good time management principles and effective in prioritizing workloads. Ø Solid meeting management principles would be desired; Ø Experience working with partners in different locations and cultures Ø Ability to manage conference calls with multiple attendees in order to resolve issues. Ø Ability to effectively articulate a status or plan to peers and clients.

Technical proficiency




Ø Strong experience in Oracle cloud and tooling. Ø Strong experience with Oracle 11g R2/12c RAC including build, administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning Ø Good knowledge of Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) \ CRS management and configuration Ø Hands-on experience in Oracle ASM and Dataguard administration Ø Extensive hands on experience managing and maintaining Exadata machines. Solid exposure to Exadata hardware with a good understanding of compute nodes, storage cells, Infiniband switches maintenance, support and troubleshooting. o Experience with Exadata Quarterly Patching, software and firmware upgrades. o Experience managing Oracle ZFS appliance, including managing shares, pools o Good understanding of the governance required to retain production availability (including checks, patching, capacity management, security, managing internal and external audits) Ø Expertise in SQL & Database level performance tuning Ø Solid experience in backup, recovery( including flashback technologies) and migration using RMAN, datapump and export\import processes Ø Knowledge of database scripting and automation technologies Ø Experience with management of databases using Enterprise manager Grid Control Ø Experience with utilizing workflow and management tools Ø Ability to apply technical principles when performing troubleshooting Ø Solid technical fluency with tools and systems Ø Knowledge of server concepts & architectures Ø Knowledge of network and firewall concepts & architectures Ø Knowledge of enterprise storage concepts & architectures Ø Knowledge of ITIL framework

Ø Minimum 10-12 years relevant experience as Oracle DBA within the IT support industry, experience in financial industry preferred. Ø Minimum 5 years experience supporting Oracle Exadata Platform in a mid-size to large corporate environment (production support experience is a must) Ø OCM or equivalent proficiency
