Role Description The Captain at Roastery Coffee House is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for supervising daily floor operations, coordinating the service team, and ensuring guests receive warm, efficient, and consistent service. The Captain oversees table allocations, manages reservations, and supports smooth communication between the kitchen, barista station, and service staff. The role includes training and guiding team members, monitoring quality and hygiene standards, handling guest feedback, and assisting with billing and cash handling.



The Captain also helps maintain a welcoming ambiance and represents the brand's commitment to exceptional coffee and hospitality.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide attentive, courteous, and professional guest interactions.
- Team leadership and coordination abilities, including experience supervising staff, delegating tasks, and supporting training on service standards.
- Operational and organizational skills, such as managing reservations, table turn-around, order flow, and basic POS or billing processes.
- Knowledge of café or restaurant service standards, including hygiene practices, food and beverage handling, and basic safety guidelines.
- Interest in specialty coffee, with willingness to learn about coffee origins, brewing methods, and product offerings to guide guests.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused during peak hours.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment in a supervisory or senior service role is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by café operations.
