Job Overview

:We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to provide expert-level management, troubleshooting, and optimization of storage and backup solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and various storage technologies, including Pure Storage Array, Unity, Isilon, and more. The role will involve managing data backup environments, implementing disaster recovery (DR) strategies, and ensuring the efficient operation of backup solutions such as EMC Networker, Avamar, and cloud backup technologies

Key Responsibilitie

s:· Administer and manage SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and other storage technologies (e.g., Pure Storage Array, Unity, Isilon

).· Provision, configure, and manage LUNs (Logical Unit Numbers), RAID arrays, and storage volumes for optimal performance and redundanc

y.· Implement, monitor, and maintain storage systems and ensure high availability, performance, and capacity managemen

t.· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAN, NAS, and other storage infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and service interruption

s.· Manage and optimize data backup and recovery processes using EMC Networker, Avamar, and other backup solution

s.· Perform regular data backup jobs, ensuring reliability, integrity, and completeness of backup

s.· Design, implement, and test backup and recovery procedures, ensuring business continuity and compliance with SLA

s.· Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures and restore issues, working closely with other IT teams to resolve complex incident

s.· Implement and maintain cloud backup solutions and ensure secure, reliable offsite backup

s.· Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies are in place for critical systems and dat

ns:· Minimum of 5 years of experience in storage management and backup engineering, with a focus on SAN, NAS, and backup solutio
