Role Overview:
As an Expert Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of Finastra’s global endpoint infrastructure. You will lead initiatives around SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Azure, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant operations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong understanding of regulated enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint & Configuration Management
Architect and manage SCCM infrastructure for global device lifecycle management. Develop and maintain task sequences, application packaging, and OS deployments. Lead patching and compliance initiatives across Windows endpoints.

Cloud & Modern Management
Experience with co-management and hybrid environments. Manage Microsoft Intune for mobile and modern device management. Administer and optimize Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access control.

Infrastructure & Automation
Support hybrid cloud infrastructure and contribute to cloud migration strategies.



Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration with AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and other scripting tools.

SQL & Reporting
Develop advanced SQL queries, SSRS reports, and Power BI dashboards for operational and compliance insights. Administer and optimize SCCM-related SQL Server databases with a focus on performance, availability, and scalability.

Security & Compliance
Support vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and audit readiness. Ensure endpoint configurations meet Finastra’s internal security standards and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Required Qualifications:
Experience in regulated environments, preferably in fintech or financial services. 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems engineering. Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). Expert-level knowledge of patch management, including Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), 3rd party patching and integrations with SCCM. Strong to expert-level proficiency in SQL Server database administration, including performance tuning and custom reporting. Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure IaaS/PaaS. Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and automation frameworks. Deep understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
