Job SummaryThe Senior Test Specialist in Cloud Automation Testing focuses on automating testing processes in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Data Warehousing environments to ensure the quality and reliability of data pipelines. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation scripts for testing data transformations, data loading processes, and data quality verification.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Testing EngineerResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and maintenance of robust UI and API test automation frameworks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and testability of acceptance criteria.Drive testing activities across squads including test scheduling, data alignment, and environment setup.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.Review product designs and bring testing vision to ensure high-quality deliverables.Troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.Demonstrate solid work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as in an Agile environment.Skills Required15+ years of experiencein automation testing across UI and API layers.Proficient inJava,BDD with Cucumber, andREST Assuredfor API testing.Strong experience in building and enhancingautomation frameworksfrom scratch.Hands-on experience withKafka,WebSocket, andREST API testing.Familiarity withSelenium,Azure Test Plans,HP QC,



and other testing tools.Proficiency inSQLand relational database concepts.Experience inLinuxandWindows (.NET)environments is an added advantage.Strong understanding of engineering and testing procedures, including:Integration and regression test suite developmentTest script writing usingBDDorTDDUse ofCucumberor similar frameworksCI/CD pipeline integration with tools likeGit,Jenkins,TFS, andAzure DevOpsBatch runs andSelenium GridsetupExperience inAgile/Scrum DevOpsteams and lifecycle management tools.Familiarity with frontend testing tools such asPlaywright,Jest, andSelenium.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.High-level technical writing and documentation skills.Exposure tomicroservices architecture, infrastructure testing, and Java development.Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and driving cross-team testing initiatives.Familiarity with leading conferences and trends inDevOpsandTest Automation.Skill Requirements1. Proficiency in cloud based automation testing tools like selenium, appium, or similar.2. Experience in automation testing of etl (extract, transform, load) processes and data warehousing.3. Strong understanding of sql for data querying and validation.4. Knowledge of big data technologies such as hadoop, spark, or kafka is a plus.5. Familiarity with scripting languages like python, java, or shell scripting.6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and good communication skills.Other Requirements1.Relevant certifications in Automation Testing, ETL Testing, or Cloud technologies are a plus.
