Role Description The Cluster Head role at Urban Money is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. The Cluster Head will oversee multiple branches or business units within the cluster, driving sales performance, loan portfolio growth, and operational efficiency. This role involves leading and mentoring teams, setting targets, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Cluster Head will collaborate with lending partners, optimize processes for loan sourcing and disbursal, and maintain high standards of customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing pipeline and conversions,



managing stakeholder relationships, resolving escalations, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve cluster-level business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising and developing multi-location or multi-team operations.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or branch management within banking, financial services, or loan advisory domains.
- Solid understanding of retail loans, mortgage products, credit assessment, and the end-to-end borrowing process.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills for working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Ability to analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and use insights to drive strategic decisions and process improvements.
- Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management standards.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, basic analytics, and digital platforms to manage workflows and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in cluster head, regional manager, or similar leadership roles in financial services will be highly beneficial.
