Summary
The Master Data Associate is part of an IT - Global Master Data team who establishes and follows procedures that maintain the integrity of data for Material Master data in SAP. The procedures permit business objectives to be met and to be compliant to (regional) Government regulations and Momentive regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
• Participates in day-to-day maintenance of Material master data, including entry, review and other related activities.
• Follows the procedures permit business objectives to be met and to be compliant to (regional) Government and Momentive regulations.
• Drive projects for Material Master Data improvement to support business.
• Assists the Master Data Team Manager in maintaining master data governance processes from definition through to execution and continuous improvement.
• Assists MD Team Manager with regular compliance reviews against policies and standards.
• Participating in the development of system and process transition and implementation plans.
• This person will be a part Global MD team to ensure all defined MD Processes are executed as defined and in a timely manner, including Government / Momentive regulations and related processes.
• If the defined responsibilities for this position are not achieved,



then delays in execution of business process requests which impacts other functions & unfavorable audit (SOX) can occur.
Internal:
Functional stakeholders /Teams/Requestors, Service Desk, IT Functional Teams & Internal Auditors.
Qualifications:
• Any Degree
• 3+ years SAP functional knowledge required i.e., SAP-MM Module. Prefer worked in Material Master Data.
• Basic knowledge with business systems and computers like knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Access (MS Office).
• Experience in SAP Data Management in a manufacturing / service environment.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Understanding of audit processes & procedures.
• Experience with troubleshooting and analysis data.
• Self-motivated to meet aggressive project timelines.
