Guidewire Technical Architect – Policy & Billing About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect with deep expertise in Policy Center and Billing Center implementations to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Guidewire solutions within the P&C; Insurance domain, ensuring adherence to cloud standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect Guidewire Policy Center and Billing Center solutions for P&C; insurance clients
- Lead greenfield implementation projects from inception to deployment
- Configure and customize Guidewire Policy Center modules including PCF, Gosu, Business Rules, Transactions/Jobs, and Product Models
- Implement cloud-based integration solutions using Integration Gateway, APP Events, Cloud APIs, and Webservices
- Ensure solutions comply with Guidewire cloud standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver high-quality solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
- Analyze complex business requirements and develop innovative technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with strong problem-solving capabilities

Required Qualifications

- Overall Experience: 10+ years in IT/software development and architecture
- Guidewire Policy Center: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Policy Center configuration, implementation, and integration
- Guidewire Billing Center: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Billing Center configuration and implementation
- Guidewire Rating: 3+ years of experience with Guidewire Rating module
- Guidewire Certification: ACE certified in Policy Center for Cloud version(s)
- Greenfield Projects: Minimum one greenfield Guidewire implementation project experience
- Cloud Standards: Strong expertise in Guidewire cloud standards and implementation methodologies
- Policy Center Configuration: Expert-level knowledge of PCF, Gosu,



Business Rules, Transactions/Jobs, Product Model Configuration, Wizards, Workflows, and Activities
- Cloud Integration: Proficiency with Integration Gateway, APP Events, Cloud APIs, Messaging, Webservices, Batch processes, and Plugins
- Java Expertise: Good understanding of Java and Java-based integrations
- Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile project environments
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to reverse engineer and ideate solutions
- Communication: Strong communication skills with qualified finesse
- Self-Management: Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

- Deep understanding of P&C; Insurance business domain and processes
- Experience with multiple Guidewire implementations
- Additional Guidewire certifications (Billing Center, Rating, etc.)
- Experience with modern integration patterns and microservices architecture
