A) Support in Fundraising Reporting to the SeniorConsultant - Development and working closely with senior programleads in conceptualizing multi-year program partnerships withFoundations, Philanthropies, CSRs and Multilaterals (World Bank,ADB, etc.) Ideate, develop and execute a strategy which is aimed atsecuring high value gifts from globally renowned donors. Lead thewriting of compelling, high-impact proposals tailored to largephilanthropic donors. Translate complex systems change work intoclear, emotionally resonant narratives that meet donorexpectations. Deep understanding of the philanthropy ecosystem andcan stitch coherent and compelling proposals and presentations toaid the medium to long-term financial sustainability of theorganization. Negotiating and finalizing funder requirements andagreements. Establish and maintain a strong working relationshipwith donor institutes B) Donor/Prospect Management Research andidentify prospective bilateral, foundation, HNI and corporatefunders. Demonstrate sensitivity to relationships with major donorsand High Net worth Individuals maintaining high degree ofconfidentiality. Develop robust working relationships with staff inall areas. Actively participate in planning and meeting goals as anintegral team member Collaborate with team members in theorganization to understand our diverse programmes and interventionsWriting, editing,
and overseeing the completion and submission ofreports on all grants Keeping record of all grant reports dueduring the calendar year Qualifications and Experience Master'sdegree or equivalent in business administration, publicadministration, public policy or other directly relevant fieldsMore than 8 years of work experience in the not-for-Profit sectorDeep understanding of system change approaches and how tocommunicate them effectively. Exceptional writing and storytellingskills, with a portfolio of successful proposals. Prior experiencein Fundraising, Business Development, constructing fundingproposals, RFP's is mandatory. A deep knowledge of Climate change/Gender/ Public health sectors would be considered as a big positiveA high level of computer literacy required, including familiaritywith CRMs or relational databases, and proficiency with MicrosoftOffice Product Possess a solid understanding of budgets as theyrelate to proposals and grants What competencies does it take to beAssociate Manager/Manager – Development?
