Job Description: We are looking foran experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. Theideal candidate should have a strong experience in Python, Java /orScala. along with expertise in cloud platform GCP.Responsibilities: Take end-to-end responsibility to build, optimizeand support of existing and new data products towards the definedtarget vision Be a champion of DevOps mindset and principles andable to manage CI/CD pipelines and terraform as well as Cloudinfrastructure, in our context, it is GCP (Google Cloud Platform).Ensure that our built data products work as independent units ofdeployment and non-functional aspects of the data products followthe defined standards for security, scalability, observability, andperformance.
Work close to the Product Owner and other stakeholdersaround vision for existing data products and identifying current dataproducts to support our customer needs Work with product teamswithin and outside our domain around topics that relate to the datamesh concept. Evaluate and drive continuous improvement andreducing technical debt in the teams Maintain expertise in latestdata/analytics and cloud technologies Required Skills At least 4+years work experience including hands-on as Data engineer on GoogleCloud Platform (GCP) Experience in GCP tools – Dataflow andBigQuery Experience in Data Build Tool (DBT) Experience indifferent data formats (Avro, Parquet) Experience in data querylanguages (SQL or similar) Experience in data centric programmingusing one of more programming languages Python, Java /or Scala.Good understanding of different data modelling techniques andtrade-off Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases Have acollaborative and co-creative mindset with excellent communicationskills Motivated to work in an environment that allows you to workand take decisions independently Experience in working with datavisualization tools Fluent in English both written and verbalStart: Immediate to 15 Days Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Form ofemployment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 monthsprobationary employment.
