About theRole Company: Aqilea India Role: Senior SAP BW/Datasphere DataDeveloper Experience: 6+ Years Location: Delhi (Hybrid) We areseeking a Senior SAP BW/Datasphere Data Developer to design, build,and operate enterprise-scale SAP data solutions that poweranalytics, reporting, and digital experiences. This is a hands-onengineering role focused on SAP BW / BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere(Business Data Cloud / BDC) , with responsibility for datamodeling, integration, performance optimization, and downstreamconsumption. The ideal candidate is a senior individual contributorwho combines deep SAP data engineering expertise with experienceenabling analytics across SAP Fiori , Power BI , and modern clouddata platforms such as Microsoft Fabric (preferred). This roleplays a critical part in modernizing SAP data platforms whileensuring reliability, governance, and scalability.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain data models in SAP BW/4HANA(ADSO, Composite Provider, Open ODS Views, Transformations, DTPs)and SAP Datasphere (Analytical Models, Views, Data Flows). Buildand enhance data extraction pipelines from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, andnon-SAP systems using ODP, CDS Views, SLT, and file-basedintegrations. Create and optimize transformations and routines(ABAP, SQL Script) to implement complex business logic and dataharmonization.



Design and configure process chains and schedulingjobs to automate daily, weekly, and monthly data loads.Troubleshoot and resolve data load failures, performancebottlenecks, and data inconsistencies across BW/4HANA andDatasphere environments. Develop and support replication flows anddata flows in SAP Datasphere, ensuring accurate and timely datamovement. Perform performance tuning of queries, models, and HANAviews using monitoring tools and runtime analysis. Design and buildSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories and applications, includingmodels, calculations, input controls, advanced formulas, and dataactions. Conduct unit testing, regression testing, and transportmanagement, ensuring stable deployments across Dev, QA, andProduction systems. Document technical designs, data models, andETL logic, and participate actively in code reviews and technicaltroubleshooting sessions. Key Skills and Expertise SAP Datasphere –strong hands-on expertise (must-have). SAP SAC (Analytics Cloud) –strong hands-on experience in reporting and dashboards (must-have).SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW – advanced modeling and data integration(must-have). SAP HANA Modeling – calculation views, performancetuning, best practices. CDS Views Development – proven experiencebuilding complex CDS views (must-have). Analytical Fiori Apps –development and deployment familiarity. (Good to have) Knowledge ofSAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). (Valuable to have) Collaboration andCommunication Work closely with product owners, digital partners,application owners, business analysts, developers,

Work Experience Requirements Number ofOverall Years Necessary: 5+ At least 5+ years of experience in SAPworld. Proven track record of successful SAP projects andinitiatives. Proven track record of staying current with SAPtechnologies and trends, demonstrated through participation in SAPevents and continuous learning. Education Requirements Bachelors ormasters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or relatedfield. 5+ years of overall experience with SAP technologies. 2+years of hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere. 3+ years ofexperience in SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA. 2–3 years of experience inSAP SAC (Analytics Cloud). 2–3 years of experience in CDS Viewsdevelopment. Proven hands-on experience with SAP SAC and SAPDatasphere (must-have). Strong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills. Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:Technical Skills Extensive knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW,Datasphere, and other SAP systems and modules. Good to haveexperience with using SAP S/4 and related modules in a Healthcaremanufacturing and distribution environment. Experience with Azureis a plus. Experience with the use of microservices to exposeaccess to SAP functionality outside of the SAP ecosystem Experiencewith CDS Views Development – proven experience building complex CDSviews Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC),Data Intelligence, or integration with 3rd party BI tools.Familiarity with database technologies, including HANA, Oracle, andSQL Server. Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP Fiori/UI5development. SAP Certifications desirable but not required SAPDatasphere certification (highly preferred). SAP SAC certification(highly preferred).
