The Role: As the Product Manager for theorganization's Public Financial Management initiatives, you willplay a pivotal role in defining and evolving a flagship FiscalInformation Exchange platform's specifications and creatingproducts and/or defining standards that help governments improvefinancial health and enhance service delivery to citizens.Collaborating within cross-functional teams and partners across thePublic Financial Management (PFM) ecosystem, you will develop adeep understanding of the challenges in public finance. Your rolewill span the entire product lifecycle — from problem framing anddefining the product vision to driving execution, launch, andgrowth. Reports to: Chief Product Officer Employment: FTE WhatYou'll Do: A. Drive Product Vision and Strategy: Develop andarticulate a compelling product vision for the platform, aligningwith the PFM mission and user needs to inspire change in the publicfinance ecosystem. Conduct domain and user research to identifypain points and opportunities, ensuring the product narrativeresonates with stakeholders. Communicate the product vision andstrategy effectively to internal and external stakeholders tosecure buy-in. B. Lead Product Design and Development: Lead theproduct design and development process, collaborating withdesigners, developers, and domain experts to ensure the platform isbuilt effectively and adopted widely. Maintain alignment withproject timelines and budgets, fostering a culture ofaccountability throughout the product life cycle.



Own thedocumentation process for internal and external stakeholders,ensuring it is integrated into the product's development andadoption strategy from the start. C. Champion Product Launch andEvolution: Spearhead the growth and adoption of the platform,ensuring it delivers measurable value to users and meets theirneeds. Develop and implement comprehensive product launch plans,including training and communication strategies that engagestakeholders at all levels. Track and monitor product performanceusing key metrics to measure success, and identify opportunitiesfor improvement. D. Engage and Collaborate with Stakeholders: Buildand nurture a community of contributors and partners to enhanceproduct capabilities and drive engagement. Communicate productprogress and insights to the leadership team, advocating for theplatform internally and externally through webinars, forums, andother channels. Requirements: You are committed to using technologyfor social valuable. You bring 6+ years of experience in differentaspects of product development and management, from problemdiscovery to design, development, and launch, with a proven trackrecord of taking products from concept to scale. You excel in userresearch, prioritisation, and prototyping. Knowledge of PublicFinancial Management or related fields, with a strong understandingof the PFM cycle across both revenue and expenditure streams.Familiarity with financial management systems and an understandingof data standards would be an advantage. You have excellent writtenand verbal communication skills, and are proactive. You thrive in afast-paced, agile environment and have experience working closelywith cross-functional teams. Experience in a 0-to-1 journey for aproduct for the public sector.
