We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP applications to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and reports.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with functional teams to enhance existing functionalities.
- Perform unit testing and assist in system integration testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP systems and applications.
- Optimize existing ABAP code to improve performance and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-9 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and tools.
- Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FICO.
- Familiarity with BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging ABAP programs.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and Fiori is a plus.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
