Role Overview We are looking for an AI-First Video Editor who understands that editing is more than cutting clips—it's about storytelling, audience psychology, retention, and content performance . The ideal candidate should be comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining high creative standards. You'll work closely with content strategists, writers, and creative teams to produce engaging content across multiple digital platforms. Key Responsibilities Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for social media and digital platforms. Transform raw footage into compelling stories with strong hooks and engaging pacing. Create videos optimized for audience retention and platform performance. Use AI-powered tools to accelerate editing, ideation, captions, visual effects, and workflows. Collaborate with writers, content strategists, and creative teams during content planning. Add motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and visual enhancements where required. Optimize videos based on analytics, viewer retention, and engagement metrics. Stay updated with emerging editing trends, AI technologies, and platform best practices. Manage multiple projects while consistently meeting tight deadlines.



Must-Have Skills Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro Good working knowledge of After Effects Experience with CapCut or similar fast-editing platforms Excellent storytelling and editing fundamentals Understanding of viewer psychology and audience retention Motion graphics and basic animation skills Sound design and color correction fundamentals Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines Preferred AI Skills Experience with one or more of the following tools is highly preferred: ChatGPT Runway Kling AI Veo HeyGen Adobe Firefly ElevenLabs Descript CapCut AI Midjourney Other AI-powered creative tools Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred: Advertising Agencies Digital Marketing Agencies Creator Economy Production Houses Media Companies D2C Brands Content Studios Startup Environment We are open to candidates from other industries if they demonstrate exceptional creativity and a strong portfolio.
