To oversee the overall administration, discipline, safety, welfare, and smooth functioning of the hostel while ensuring a secure and supportive workplace for students.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily operations of the hostel.
- Lead and monitor all wardens and support staff.
- Ensure discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Maintain student safety, security, and well-being at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, dining hall, kitchen, and common areas.
- Handle student grievances and resolve disciplinary issues.
- Maintain attendance, leave records, and hostel registers.
- Coordinate admissions, room allotment, and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Coordinate with parents regarding student welfare when necessary.
- Manage emergency situations and ensure first-aid readiness.
- Prepare periodic reports on hostel operations for the management.




- Organize awareness programs on health, hygiene, discipline, and life skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hostel administration or student affairs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage emergencies and conflicts.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and record management.
