Job Description: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail oriented and reliable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team in the hotel industry. You will play a crucial role in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, possesses great stamina, and is committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

· Room Maintenance & Cleaning:

- Clean, dust, polish, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors.
- Make beds daily, change bed linens, and replace used towels with fresh ones.

· Stocking & Replenishing:

- Restock bath care products (soap, shampoo, conditioner), toiletries, and stationery.
- Refill guest refreshment stations, such as coffee/tea supplies and mini-bars.

· Guest Relations & Support:

- Acknowledge and greet guests warmly and professionally whenever encountered.
- Address guest queries, fulfill special requests promptly (e.g., extra pillows, irons), and report feedback to management.
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policy.

· Safety & Reporting:

- Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, leaking faucets, damaged furniture) and report them immediately to the maintenance department or Head Housekeeper.
- Adhere strictly to safety, security, health, and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.




- Respect guest privacy and protect property security at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Educational Background: A diploma, degree, or certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Administration, or a related field is preferred. However, freshers without prior hospitality degrees are warmly welcomed and provided with comprehensive training.

· Industry Alignment: A genuine passion for the hotel and hospitality industry, with an understanding of guest service standards and hotel operations.

· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push cleaning carts, and lift or move heavy items for extended periods.

· Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines and high-performance standards.

· Communication Skills: Basic command of English (additional languages are a plus) to understand instructions and interact politely with guests.

· Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and morning or evening shifts
