Job Description – Early Years Teacher

Position: Early Years Teacher (Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Kindergarten)

Location: American Edu Global School, Pilkhuwa

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.

- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes holistic child development.

- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through play-based and experiential learning.

- Observe, assess, and maintain records of each child's progress and share regular feedback with parents.

- Encourage positive behaviour, good manners, and independence among children.

- Organize classroom activities, celebrations, storytelling sessions, art & craft, music, and outdoor learning experiences.

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of every child at all times.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues and actively participate in school events, meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.

- Maintain classroom resources and prepare creative teaching-learning materials.

- Uphold the school's vision, values,



and policies while fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree with Diploma/Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (ECE), NTT, or equivalent qualification.

- Excellent communication skills in English.

- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.

- Passion for working with young children and supporting their overall development.

- Prior teaching experience in Early Years is preferred.
