Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate embedded software modules related to vehicle network communication and diagnostics.
- Work on Instrument Cluster and Infotainment system applications, focusing on CAN-based and UDS/J1939 diagnostic implementations.
- Develop and maintain network and diagnostic communication layers, ensuring seamless ECU interaction and compliance with standards.
- Utilize tools such as CANalyzer/CANoe for network analysis, simulation, and debugging.
- Implement embedded software in C/C++ and assembly, following industry best practices and coding standards (MISRA C/C++).
- Work with RTOS and device driver layers to ensure reliable real-time operation and effective system performance.
- Perform software debugging and troubleshooting, analyzing communication logs and diagnostic data to resolve network issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — hardware, systems, and test to ensure full hardware-software integration.
- Participate in architecture design reviews, code reviews, and diagnostic validation activities.
- Ensure traceability and version control using DOORS, Codebeamer, Jira, SVN, GIT,
and Enterprise Architect.
- Provide technical support during integration, validation, and customer issue resolution phases.
Qualification
B. E / B. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
M. E / M. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
Experience
6-8 Years
Technical Details
- Strong experience in Embedded Software Development with a proven record of successful project delivery.
- Hands-on expertise in Automotive Networks (CAN) and Diagnostic Standards (J1939, ISO 14229 – UDS).
- Experience in software design, development, and testing for Instrument Cluster or Infotainment systems.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and assembly programming for embedded systems.
- Experience with RTOS and device driver development.
- Excellent skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and network analysis.
- Strong understanding of embedded architecture, hardware-software interactions, and low-level programming.
- Proficiency with tools like DOORS, Enterprise Architect, CANalyzer/CANoe, Jira, SVN, GIT, and Codebeamer.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR, MISRA C/C++, and CAN bus standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
