Job Profile
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Lead and manage end-to-end accounting .
- Ensure accurate accounting of all financial transactions in compliance with Ind AS, the Companies Act, and applicable accounting policies.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts.
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements along with all schedules and disclosures in accordance with Ind AS.
- Review accounting estimates, provisions, impairment assessments, and financial disclosures.
2. Sales Accounting & Receivables Management
- Oversee accounting of domestic and export sales, revenue recognition, customer incentives, rebates, discounts, freight recoveries, and related transactions.
- Ensure reconciliation of sales with ERP, GST returns, and financial records.
- Monitor receivables, customer ageing, and collection efficiency.
3. Accounts Payable & Vendor Payments
- Oversee bill passing, invoice verification, accounting, and timely payment to vendors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual payment terms and internal approval processes.
- Monitor vendor reconciliations, ageing analysis, and resolution of outstanding issues.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, MSME Act, and other statutory provisions relating to vendor payments.
4. Payroll Accounting
- Ensure accurate accounting of payroll and payment of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, and other statutory employee obligations.
5. Working Capital & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flows, liquidity, receivables, inventory, and payables to optimise cash conversion cycles.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and treasury plans.
- Ensure effective treasury operations, including fund transfers, investments, and banking transactions.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Coordinate sanction, renewal, enhancement, documentation, and utilisation of fund-based and non-fund-based credit facilities.
- Monitor compliance with lending covenants and submission of periodic financial information to lenders.
- Handle matters relating to working capital limits, term loans, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other banking arrangements.
8. GST Management
- Lead end-to-end GST compliance for the organisation.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of all GST returns.
- Monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation with GST portal and vendors.
- Ensure timely resolution of reconciliation differences.
- Handle GST assessments, departmental notices, audits, investigations, and litigation.
- Prepare replies to notices and represent the Company before GST authorities during assessments and personal hearings.
9. Direct Tax Management
- Ensure compliance with all Income Tax provisions applicable to the Company.
- Coordinate preparation of tax computation, tax audit reports, transfer pricing information (where applicable), and other statutory submissions.
- Ensure timely payment of advance tax, self-assessment tax, and TDS obligations.
11. Insurance Management
- Manage the Company's insurance portfolio, including industrial all-risk policies, fire insurance, marine insurance, machinery breakdown, liability insurance, employee insurance, and other risk coverage.
- Coordinate policy renewals, valuation of assets, premium optimisation,
and adequacy of insurance coverage.
- Handle insurance claims, documentation, surveys, and settlements in coordination with insurers and surveyors.
12. Audit & Internal Financial Controls
- Independently coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, cost audits, and other regulatory audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of recommendations.
- Strengthen Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and ensure compliance with the Companies Act and internal policies.
- Review SOPs and recommend process improvements, automation, and strengthening of financial governance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Minimum 15–20 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a large manufacturing organisation.
- Good knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, treasury management, banking operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal financial controls.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
