Job Description- Hospital CCTV Monitoring Staff

Job Summary

The CCTV Monitoring Staff is responsible for continuous surveillance and monitoring of hospital premises through CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, employees, medical equipment, and hospital assets. The role involves identifying security concerns, reporting incidents promptly, maintaining surveillance records, and supporting emergency response activities.

Key Responsibilities

CCTV Monitoring and Surveillance

- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems on a continuous basis.
- Observe and identify suspicious activities, security breaches, unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or safety hazards.
- Ensure all designated hospital areas are under effective surveillance.
- Conduct routine checks to confirm and monitoring systems are functioning properly.

Incident Detection and Reporting

- Identify and immediately report security incidents to the Security Supervisor and concerned departments.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and actions taken.
- Preserve and retrieve CCTV footage for investigations as authorized.
- Assist in reviewing recorded footage for incident verification and reporting.

Access and Safety Monitoring

- Monitor entry and exit points, parking areas, critical care zones, pharmacy areas, stores, cash collection points, and other sensitive locations.




- Observe crowd movement and visitor activities to ensure compliance with hospital security policies.
- Report safety risks such as fire hazards, blocked emergency exits, or unauthorized gatherings.

Emergency Response Support

- Provide real-time information to security teams during emergencies..
- Assist in Coordinating responses during fire alarms, medical emergencies, evacuation procedures, and security incidents.

Documentation and Record Keeping

- Maintain shift logs, surveillance reports, incident reports, and equipment status records.
- Record all significant observations and security events accurately.

Compliance and Confidentiality

- Adhere to hospital security policies, patient privacy regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
- Ensure surveillance information and recordings are accessed only by authorized personnel.
- Comply with legal and organizational requirements related to security monitoring and data protection.

Required Qualification

- Higher Secondary (12th Pass), Diploma, or Graduate in any discipline.
- Certiifcate or training in CCTV Operations, Security Management, or Surveillance Systems is preffered.
- Prior experience in CCTV monitoring, security opertaions, or hospital security is desirable.

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Continous monitoring in a control room environment.
- May be required to work during emergency situations and hospital events.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
