Hiring: Area Sales Manager – Aquaculture (Shrimp)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to strengthen our presence in the Andhra Pradesh aquaculture market. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of shrimp farming, dealer network management, technical sales, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities

* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

* Develop and manage a strong dealer and distributor network.

* Build relationships with shrimp farmers, consultants, and corporate farms.

* Lead, coach, and monitor Sales Officers/Territory Executives.

* Conduct technical meetings, farmer awareness programs, and product demonstrations.

* Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.

* Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product positioning.

* Ensure timely collections and healthy dealer inventory.

* Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and market intelligence.

* Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to drive business growth.

## Candidate Requirements

* Minimum **6–7 years of experience** in the Aquaculture Industry.





* Minimum **2–3 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager** (or equivalent team handling role).

* Strong experience in the **Andhra Pradesh aquaculture market**, preferably Bhimavaram, West Godavari and nearby regions.

* Excellent knowledge of shrimp culture, pond management, shrimp health products, feed supplements, probiotics, and water quality management.

* Proven experience in dealer development and achieving sales targets.

* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills.

* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Marine Science or any relevant discipline.

* Existing network with aqua dealers, distributors, consultants, and shrimp farmers in Andhra Pradesh will be an added advantage.
