Urgently required for the post of Project Engineer (Site Measurement & Wear Parts Engineering)

Experience : 3+ years

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Measurement & Inspection

- Conduct detailed site inspections and dimensional surveys of:
- Chutes and Hoppers
- Ball Mills
- Vertical Roller Mills (VRM)
- Crusher Blow Bars
- Impact Crusher Components
- Mill Liners
- Wear Plates and Wear Protection Systems
- Perform accurate measurements using precision instruments.
- Prepare measurement sketches, fitment drawings, and installation reports.
- Verify existing equipment dimensions against customer drawings.
- Identify wear patterns and recommend suitable liner solutions.

2. Technical Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare detailed measurement reports with photographs and sketches.
- Generate inspection reports highlighting wear conditions and replacement requirements.
- Create dimensional databases for future manufacturing and replacement planning.
- Coordinate with design and production teams for drawing preparation.
- Maintain project documentation and progress reports.

3. Project Execution & Site Coordination

- Supervise installation and replacement of:
- Chute liners
- Hopper liners




- Ball mill liners
- Crusher liners and blow bars
- Wear-resistant components
- Coordinate with customer representatives and contractors.
- Ensure work execution as per project schedule.
- Monitor quality, safety, and productivity during site activities.
- Manage site manpower, tools, and equipment.

4. Material Selection & Wear Solution Engineering

- Understand applications of:
- Austenitic Manganese Steel
- High Chrome White Iron (HCWI)
- Ni-Hard Cast Iron
- Chromium Carbide Overlay Plates
- Ceramic Composite Liners
- Rubber and Polyurethane Liners
- Alloy Steel Wear Components
- Recommend suitable materials based on abrasion, impact, and operating conditions.
- Support customers in selecting cost-effective wear protection solutions.

5. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with plant safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks before site work.
- Maintain proper usage of PPE and safety equipment.
- Follow customer permit-to-work procedures.
