Role Overview

Transparent Overseas is looking for an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the Glass Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing end-to-end production operations, leading shop floor teams, improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely order execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.
- Manage the complete production process from raw material to finished goods.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, PPC, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
- Optimize manpower, machines, and resources to improve productivity.
- Monitor production efficiency and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines.
- Resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
- Monitor wastage, rejection, and production costs to improve efficiency.
- Train and guide production supervisors and shop floor teams.




- Prepare daily production reports and review KPIs with management.
- Ensure smooth execution of export orders and adherence to shipment schedules.

Requirements

- Graduate/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Glass Manufacturing Industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of glass production processes, finishing, quality standards, and factory operations.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management, and process optimization.
- Valuable leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
- Experience working in an export-oriented manufacturing unit will be an added advantage.
