Job Descritpion of SAP BTP Consultant

4 to 11 Years Relevant Experience

Seeking an experienced SAP BTP Consultant to design, deploy, and manage SAP Business Technology Platform environments in hybrid landscapes. The role involves provisioning, integrating, and maintaining SAP BTP services, ensuring secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises SAP systems, and supporting mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect, provision, configure, and manage SAP BTP global accounts, subaccounts, and entitlements.
- Integrate on-premise SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) with SAP BTP via Cloud Connector, RFC, or APIs.
- Set up and manage SAP Cloud ALM, including customized monitors and regular updates.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues between BTP and backend systems.
- Lead architecture and deployment of SAP systems (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Cloud Connector) in BTP and hybrid environments.
- Configure destinations, connectivity services,



and integration with Identity Authentication Service (IAS).
- Analyze logs, resolve incidents, and liaise with SAP Support for escalations.
- Ensure secure communication with expertise in networking, SSL, SSO/SAML.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Experience in hybrid SAP landscapes (cloud and on-prem).
- Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP services, including:
- SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
- SAP Data Intelligence.
- SAP Event Mesh.
- SAP Cloud Connector.
- SAP Cloud ALM.
- SAP IAS (Identity Authentication Service) & IPS (Identity Provisioning Service).
- SAP BTP Cockpit.

- Solid understanding of SAP connectivity, integration, and security best practices.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex performance and connectivity issues.
