We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Visa Counsellor to assist students and clients with visa applications for international education and travel. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of visa procedures, and the ability to guide clients through the documentation and application process while ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and clients regarding visa requirements, application procedures, and documentation.
- Assess client eligibility for different visa categories.
- Guide clients through the complete visa application process.
- Verify and review documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and submit visa applications in accordance with embassy and immigration guidelines.
- Schedule visa appointments and prepare clients for interviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies and visa regulations.
- Coordinate with universities, embassies, and partner institutions when required.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and application status.
- Follow up with clients regarding pending documents, application updates, and visa outcomes.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Meet monthly visa filing and conversion targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in visa counselling, immigration, or overseas education consultancy.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of visa procedures for countries such as Canada, Australia, UK, USA, New Zealand, and Europe.
- Attention to detail and solid documentation skills.
- Customer service and counselling abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in overseas education counselling.
- Knowledge of university admission processes.
- Familiarity with immigration laws and embassy procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple client applications simultaneously.
