Junior Product Manager (Technical Background) – Connected Vehicle

Agnik is looking for a Junior Product Manager for its New Town, Kolkata office, who can own a market-leading connected car product and help it flourish further in different global markets. Responsibilities:

This position would require managing the complete lifecycle of a connected vehicle product that involves a small IoT device that users plug into the onboard diagnostic port of a vehicle, and the related software for computers and smartphones. The software is used for browsing vehicle location, trips, health, and driver behavior-related information. Responsibilities include the following:

- Conceptualize product solutions that include internal development, 3rd party applications, and integrations with existing enterprise systems
- Collect customer behavior data and analyze
- Define hypotheses, validate assumptions,



and test prototypes in small, rapid iterations
- Work closely with the development teams, building trust, and delivering product leadership
- Benchmark existing offerings and potential opportunities against direct and indirect competitors
- In partnership with data analysts, define and monitor key product metrics
- Present product results and plans at quarterly business meetings
- Responsible for submitting product requests and progressing through governance
- Manage support escalations for assigned products

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field (B.Tech, BCA, M.Tech, MCA).
- 3+ years in a product management role, leading product teams for web/app-based consumer products with experience across the entire product lifecycle.
- 2+ years of Agile experience as a product owner, breaking down requirements into atomic stories and working collaboratively with developers as part of the development team.
- 2+ years of experience crafting strategic directions that reflect market opportunities, competitive landscapes, and organizational needs.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with UX designers and developers in Product Discovery, creating user tests and prototypes for web and smartphone apps.
- 2+ years of experience managing user groups, conducting feasibility tests in iterations, and distilling customer feedback into development stories.
- 2+ years of experience defining and tracking meaningful KPIs that monitor product performance and drive roadmap decisions.
- Ability to present to and manage communication with all levels of the organization and influence external/internal clients.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts such as APIs, DBMS, HTML, and Web Components.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
