Hiring Requirements – Substation Design / Protection Engineer

Experience: 5–8 Years

We are looking for an experienced Substation Design / Protection Engineer with robust hands-on experience in substation engineering, protection systems, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

- 5–8 years of relevant experience in substation electrical design and engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of CT/VT sizing and selection.
- Experience in relay setting calculations and protection coordination studies.
- Knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and communication system design.
- Hands-on experience in ETAP for electrical system studies and analysis.
- Ability to prepare, review, and coordinate electrical design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Experience in managing and coordinating substation design projects from concept through completion.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable engineering standards and ISO 9001:2015 quality requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide technical support to the commercial team for quotations, invoicing,



vendor evaluation, and finalization.
- Monitor project progress, technical quality, deliverables, and timely completion.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead and coordinate a technical team.

Software Skills:

- ETAP – Mandatory
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
- Knowledge of other electrical engineering / substation design software will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

A technically robust and proactive electrical engineering professional with a hands-on approach to substation design, protection, automation, and communication systems, along with the ability to manage project delivery, quality, and cross-functional coordination.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
