Job Overview

Chasing Illusions Studio is looking for an experienced 3D Architectural Walkthrough Animator who can create high-quality, photorealistic and cinematic walkthrough videos for residential, commercial and large-scale real-estate projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in architectural visualization, camera animation, lighting, rendering and cinematic presentation. This role is not limited to creating still renders—the candidate must be capable of independently producing complete architectural walkthrough sequences.

Key Responsibilities

- Create cinematic 3D architectural walkthrough animations.
- Develop smooth and visually engaging camera movements.
- Set up realistic lighting, materials, textures and environments.
- Produce high-quality interior and exterior renders.
- Optimize architectural scenes for efficient animation and rendering.
- Work with CAD drawings, architectural plans, elevations and client references.
- Add landscaping, vegetation, people, vehicles and environmental elements.
- Create realistic day, evening and night-time visualizations.
- Coordinate with modelling, animation and post-production teams.
- Maintain consistency in visual quality throughout the walkthrough.
- Deliver projects according to the approved storyboard, references and deadlines.
- Handle render settings, scene optimization and basic troubleshooting.

Required Software Skills

The candidate must have professional working experience with:

- Autodesk 3ds Max
- D5 Render
- Corona Renderer
- Twinmotion

Experience with the following will be an added advantage:

- Unreal Engine
- V-Ray
- Lumion
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Photoshop

Candidate Requirements





- Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in architectural visualization and walkthrough animation.
- Strong portfolio featuring completed architectural walkthrough videos.
- Good understanding of cinematic composition, camera angles, pacing and visual storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of lighting, materials, texturing and photorealistic rendering.
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, floor plans and architectural layouts.
- Experience creating both interior and exterior walkthroughs.
- Ability to manage large and complex architectural scenes.
- Good understanding of render optimization and file management.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to visual quality.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must share a portfolio or showreel containing their own architectural walkthrough animation work.

Applications without a relevant portfolio or walkthrough showreel will not be considered.

Skill Assessment

Shortlisted candidates must be willing to complete a straightforward practical test to demonstrate their skills in:

- Camera animation
- Lighting and materials
- Scene presentation
- Rendering quality
- Overall cinematic sense

The test will be limited in scope and used only for evaluating the candidate’s suitability for the position.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a strong cinematic eye.
- Can transform a basic architectural scene into a premium visual experience.
- Understands luxury real-estate presentation.
- Can take ownership of a walkthrough project from scene setup to final render.
- Is comfortable working on multiple projects and meeting production deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
