About Us

We're building a team to deliver foundational Customer Data Platform (CDP) use cases in 45 days, using Segment as the hub. Clients expect trust, speed, and results.

We're hiring a Data Quality & Governance Lead to own the trust layer. If Segment is the nervous system of the client's data, you make sure the signals flowing through it are clean, compliant, and reliable.

What You'll Do

- Own the tracking plan — define, version, and enforce schema rules so events are consistent and typed.
- Flag rogue events and schema drift before they hit downstream systems.
- Validate identity resolution — anonymousId → userId stitching, no ghost profiles or collisions.
- Guard compliance and privacy — GDPR/CCPA alignment, consent enforcement, secure PII handling.
- Run QA checks in the Segment debugger and keep a transparent log of issues and fixes.
- Deliver a simple, regular data quality update so clients and the team are never surprised.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements

- Experience in data governance, analytics engineering, or CDP/Segment schema management.
- Comfortable with Segment Debugger/Protocols, and general project tools (Trello/Jira, Notion/Confluence, Slack).




- Able to catch schema drift and PII issues quickly and calmly.
- Can explain governance rules clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points

- Hands-on experience with Segment or a similar CDP.
- Experience running compliance/privacy reviews.
- Built templates or playbooks for repeatable governance work.

Tools You'll Use

Segment Protocols + Debugger, Google Sheets/Notion (tracking plan), Trello/Jira, Slack, Consent Management Platforms (OneTrust, TrustArc), and warehouse tools (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift) as needed.
